Two forms fired together: a tall, dark jar with lugs and a low, wide-mouthed pot in lighter clay. Together they balance tall and low, dark and pale.

- Halan clay from the Quao river, mixed with fine sand
- Firing
- Open fire of wood, straw and coconut husk, around 800°C
- Finish
- No glaze, no colourant - colour comes from fire and smoke
- Care
- Unglazed clay is porous. Dust with a soft dry cloth. For fresh flowers, use a glass liner inside.
