A tall, narrow-shouldered vase, buried in rice husk straight from the fire until the smoke turned it almost black.
Its quiet silhouette suits one bare branch or a few long stems.

- Halan clay from the Quao river, mixed with fine sand
- Firing
- Open fire of wood, straw and coconut husk, around 800°C
- Finish
- No glaze, no colourant - colour comes from fire and smoke
- Care
- Unglazed clay is porous. Dust with a soft dry cloth. For fresh flowers, use a glass liner inside.
