Incense Bowl
A shallow fired-clay bowl for cones, sticks or resin.
A shallow, open bowl in warm orange clay. Fired in the open at around 800°C, it takes the heat of a burning cone without complaint.
Fill it with sand or rice to stand incense sticks upright.

- Halan clay from the Quao river, mixed with fine sand

- Open fire of wood, straw and coconut husk, around 800°C
- Finish
- No glaze, no colourant - colour comes from fire and smoke
- Care
- Unglazed clay is porous. Dust with a soft dry cloth. For fresh flowers, use a glass liner inside.
